Key Responsibilities:

• Identify and originate global investment opportunities to achieve investment mandates; Candidates are required not only to leverage existing channels, but are expected to think laterally to enhance their own dealflow sources
• Assess commercial viability, strategic and financial considerations, consider risk-reward scenarios and conduct due diligence on investment targets, Knowledge in handling intellectual property an added bonus
• Structure investments and negotiate investment terms; Candidates will work closely with EDBI’s Legal team
• Advise portfolio companies on strategy implementation, and where applicable, work with EDBI’s Value Creation teams to assist on management and talent selection, business development, branding and awareness; guide portfolio companies to grow value and achieve higher return on investment

Overall Requirements:

For ICT:

• Good Bachelor’s Degree and above in Computer Science or Engineering, with at least 2nd Upper Class Honours or equivalent
• At least 4 years of working experience in technical-related sectors, preferably in ICT. Outstanding candidates without investment experience are also welcomed to apply.

For SGP:

• Good Bachelor’s Degree and above
• 8-12 investment/corporate finance experience in Singapore, in private equity, or corporate/investment banking.
• Additional Finance related qualification such as MBA or CFA would be of significant advantage
• At least 5 – 12 years of investment experience with working industry knowledge/background in the relevant sectors; positions will be pegged to experience of candidates.
• Excellent relationship management capabilities, communication and presentation skills
• Team player with strong abilities to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment
