Ambiq Micro Q2 net loss narrows to US$7.1 million as edge AI sales surge

Ambiq Micro is not exactly a household name, but one of its products was once used by Singaporeans during a crisis. The Texas-based designer of so-called ultra-low-power chips is behind a variant of the TraceTogether token, which was ubiquitous during Covid-19 and used in the overall fight against the spread of the virus.
