Redwood City, CA, June 12, 2018 – Paxata, the pioneer in self-service data preparation for analytics, today announced that Forrester Research, Inc., a leading independent technology and market research company, has positioned Paxata as a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Big Data Fabric, Q2 2018.

Paxata received the highest possible score in the Data Ingestion, Data Transformation, Data Preparation, Data Lineage, Data Governance, Data Security, Fabric Integration, and Self-Service subcriteria. Forrester noted that “the Paxata platform provides an interactive enterprise data fabric solution that comprises several technologies to support real-time integration, quality, governance, collaboration, and enrichment.” And, within the Strategy Category, Paxata received the highest possible score for the vision criterion.

The Paxata Adaptive Information Platform harnesses artificial intelligence and elastic scaling through cloud and distributed computing. The platform includes an enterprise self-service data preparation application designed for all business users along with rapid data profiling, which is powered by intelligent systems with automated information flows. The Forrester report states “Its AI and machine learning algorithms help business analysts easily understand, categorize, integrate, and connect data more quickly.”

According to Forrester, “Big data platform components like data lakes, Hadoop, and NoSQL have made big data architectures more affordable, allowing companies to pursue insights-driven competitive advantage.” The report also states that “Most organizations are creating multiple repositories and platforms, creating more data silos rather than a unified platform for insights.” And, that “…disparate technology stacks compromise timely, integrated data delivery to business users, customers, and partners.” As a result, the study found Enterprise architecture (EA) pros are realizing that big data fabric can help them increase agility and minimize complexity.

“We launched the Self-Service Data Preparation category in 2013 with the industry’s first code-free data preparation solution built on the first enterprise grade information fabric. Last year, Paxata was named a leader in The Forrester Wave™: Data Preparation Tools, Q1 2017, and today, we are once again thrilled and honored to see Paxata recognized as a leader in Forrester’s Wave for Big Data Fabric platforms. The combination of a data fabric with data prep addresses today’s market needs to help our customers transform raw data into the ready information needed while delivering the lowest TCO in industry, multi-cloud scale, and business agility” said Prakash Nanduri, Co-Founder and CEO, Paxata. “I believe that this is a testament and endorsement of the tangible business value of our vision and I am deeply grateful to the Paxata team, our wonderful customers, and our partners for embracing this vision and making it happen.”
